Sam has always been active starting dancing when she was 3 years old. When she was 8 she joined the circus inspiring her love in aerial arts and acro. She performed in several shows and toured across Australia until she left the circus to focus on her studies and in 2014 she began her degree in psychology. Keeping active during this time on her university cheerleading team, Sam competed nationally and helped coach two All-Star cheerleading teams to nationals. In 2016 Sam organised a social night for her team – a trial class at PhysiPole Albury. She immediately felt at home and after the first lesson she was hooked! She signed up for two courses for her first term and each term it grew to be more and more until a year later when she was poling 5 days a week, had started teaching, and had even dipped her toes into performing. Starting slowly with showcases and eventually working her way to her first in house competition, Ignite. She was blown away when she won heats and made it through to the finals placing 2nd. Sam was devastated to leave her PhysiFam behind in 2017 when she moved away to Canberra to follow her career, so much so that she decided to open her own PhysiPole Studios in Canberra in 2019. Sam was a finalist in Miss Pole Dance ACT in 2018 and 2019 but has had a break from competing for a while to focus on the business and start her family, welcoming her first baby Isla in 2021 and expanding her family with her second baby Harrison in 2023.
