Carly Maddison
Studio Owner
Carly had very little background in dance when she decided to try pole dancing. When she was a child, she attended a ballet class – roughly 15 minutes later she left said class after throwing a tantrum and never returned. Fast forward several years, she took an interest in dance classes at the local community centre. She attended these classes for a few years, never quite feeling like a ‘dancer’ but enjoying the hours all the same – performing was definitely not something she loved, typically managing to end up in, on, or behind a curtain during end of year concerts.
One fateful day, the dance school started offering pole dance classes – Carly gave it a go with a friend from school and hasn’t looked back since.
She joined PhysiPole in 2015, officially became a PhysiPole trained Instructor in 2016, and made the move to Salisbury to take on the role of Studio Manager at the new studio in 2018.
In 2021, Carly took a brief step back from teaching as she not only took over as proud new Owner of the Salisbury studio but welcomed a beautiful baby girl to her family. The adventure so far has been a big one, and the last few years particularly have been a whirlwind, but it has been incredible and there’s so much more to come.
