PhysiPole Online Competition

Introducing a virtual competition for PhysiPole Students to enter to keep you motivated and give you a goal during 2020. Entrants will submit a video of their routine to be streamed to a live audience via a webinar where winners will be announced for each category.

Categories

Beginner Floor Flow


This needs to be mainly based on the floor, for students in levels lower than 7

Advanced Floor Flow


This needs to be mainly based on the floor, for students in levels higher than 7


Beginner Apparatus


If you have an apparatus at home get a routine together can be any apparatus you have at home, for students in levels lower than 7

Advanced Apparatus


If you have an apparatus at home get a routine together can be any apparatus you have at home,, for students in levels higher than 7


Beginner Dance


Can be any style of dance, for students in levels lower than 7

Advanced Dance


Can be any style of dance,, for students in levels higher than 7

Terms & Conditions

Must be a PhysiPole student at any of our 17 locations or previously been a student the past 3 months.
If performing on an apparatus please only complete skills you have been taught by an instructor and that you space allows, safety first.
Props including human props are allowed.
Any footwear including heels, boots, dance shoes, runners or bare feet are permitted.
The removal of clothing is allowed as long as minimum costume requirements are maintained. No nudity or partial nudity is permitted. No g-strings or nipple pasties are allowed.
Apparatus division must be on an apparatus at home
Videos must be of one take with no editing.
Routines to be between 2-3.5 min

Judging Criteria

All categories are out of 10


Technique


Performer demonstrates clean lines, pointed toes, strong posture and overall technique is high


Dance


Has well thought-out choreography, unique transitions, musicality and clean dance moves


Presentation


Costume, confidence and concept will be considered


Skills


The skills in your routine will be judged on execution and degree of difficulty according to your category
